Purpose:   

a) supporting B2B sales strategies in designated markets

b) the implementation of a target driven local business development strategy

Organisation structure:   

The B2B (agent) channel is managed centrally by International Marketing Services (IMS) and its team of Regional Sales Managers and Sales Co-ordinators. The local market is line managed by the Distribution Director.

Responsibilities & Tasks

International Marketing and Sales Co-ordination

  • Support Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to achieve or better net revenue targets
  • Provide timely, accurate and comprehensive information to B2B partners/agents in designated territories
  • Provide agents with quotes for both group and individual enquiries (new agents)
  • Follow up e-mails and calls to close sales and gather market intelligence for collation by the Group Marketing Manager
  • Send out agency agreements as instructed
  • Co-ordinate responses to enquiries arriving on the company’s web media and internal operating systems
  • Liaise with peer Sales Co-ordinators to ensure consistency in quality of information and ongoing cross group product training
  • Effectively manage sales processes prior to the point of enrolment with the result that existing business is secured and new business is won
  • Provide Close liaison with Reservations teams to ensure that agents are set up on the school’s operating software
  • Provide Media & Communications Manager with regular updates for company media and publications
  • Organise agent visits and fam-trips under the direction of the IMS Director
  • Contribute customer information to the CRM database
  • Provide general sales administration – brochure orders, booking of and preparation of workshops

Local/Direct Market Management

  • Undertake strategic appraisal of local business opportunities under direction of the DD.  
  • Price revenue generating local products and services
  • Liaise with DD and GM to evaluate distribution & operational budgets
  • Work to budget targets
  • Develop advertising and promotional campaigns using internal and external media and platforms as required

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience in a Sales and Marketing role for a middle sized company or larger
  • Microsoft Office
  • High Customer Service ethic
  • Able to meet requirements of job
  • ‘Can do’ approach
  • Good personal and telephone manner
  • Some flexible hours required
  • Driving licence 

Desirable

  • University Degree in any discipline
