Flexible start dates
By offering the option of starting any Monday of the year you can plan your studies according to your own needs. Start when it suits you!
As long as you want
You can follow the programme for a semester (12 weeks), for the full academic year (32 weeks) or even a calendar year, whatever best fits your work or study schedules. Study for as long as you can!
Standard and Premium choices
Choose between our Premium options (a maximum of 6 students per class) and our Standard classes, with up to 12 students per class.
Your individual needs are our priority
We give you regular tests so we know how effectively you are progressing and where improvements and extra attention are required.
A stepping stone to university
We have a comprehensive university placement service to assist with the choice of and application process to the university of your choice.
Free upgrades
We will offer you free upgrades to business and examination classes (subject to level and availability) enabling you to collect internationally recognised certificates such as Cambridge FCE, CAE and CPE.

In my country of Korea, students start to learn English very early, but most students do not use the language enough and I realized that I needed to really study English harder for my university classes. After just 3 months here, I have met good teachers and friends and the weather is great. My English skill has improved because I could only say simple greetings and words when I first arrived. I learned a lot of skills in the month long TOEIC course, especially grammar and I got a high score on the exam. I have enjoyed my classes and my time here at LAL very much.
