In the picturesque setting of the prosperous neighbourhood of Twickenham, close to the river Thames, St Mary's University campus is a stone’s throw from the shops of charming Richmond, and yet only half an hour from central London. It offers young learners the best of both village and city life.

St Mary’s University boasts a modern campus based in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, with over 15 classrooms, extensive outdoor sports fields and a recently built sports centre. The university campus also has indoor tennis courts, a student union hall and theatre. There are lots of opportunities to see London and enjoy everything it offers.
In 2012 St Mary’s hosted many teams for the London Olympics and is the training ground for Britain’s Olympic Gold medalist, Mo Farah.

Arrival and first day
Our Summer School packages include airport transfers from London Heathrow at set times, and transfers from other airports are available at an extra charge. We'll pick up students at the airport and arrange their safe transfer to the school.
All students will be met by an LAL member of staff upon arrival at the airport.
Standard Transfers are included for arrivals and departures on Sundays only at the following times:
Arrivals: LHR 08.00-19.00
Departures: LHR 09.00-19.00
We will make an extra charge for transfers from or to other airports or at other times.Find out more
Mind your luggage limits
We regret that LAL staff cannot carry students' luggage for them, so it is important that students do not bring more than they can carry.More information
LAL makes a surcharge of GBP 30 for arrival and GBP 30 for departure for unaccompanied minors. This does not cover airline fees: Parents or guardians must also pay the appropriate airline charges direct to the airline in advance.Read more

Depending on where you were born, where you live now and which course you wish to study, you may require a visa to study with us in the UK. In general, students can study with us without a visa if they hold a passport from the EU, European Economic Area or from Switzerland.
Students from other countries may require one of five different types of visa to study with LAL in England.
