LAL Partner in Westerwald - ESL

“Rhein-Westerwald”: such is the name given to the region of medium-sized mountains including the area between Frankfurt and Cologne, between the Lahn, the Sieg, the Rhine and the Dill.

 

Situated 45 minutes away from Bonn, the wooded and verdant landscapes of the Westerwald region were the main inspiration for the famous fairytales of the Brothers Grimm. The unspoilt nature of this region encourages visitors to participate in numerous outdoor sports and activities.

 

At the crossroads of the Rhine and the wooded hills of the “Rhein-Westerwald” natural park, the ESL course centre includes pleasant classrooms, a computer room with Internet access, 2 restaurants, a swimming pool, a bowling alley, table tennis, an indoor football hall with astroturf as well as 2 tennis courts, a football pitch and an outdoor running track. The surroundings of the course centre offer a multitude of additional outdoor activities and the closeness to Cologne and to Bonn assure the necessary cultural and recreational variety for the entertainment of our students.
