My name is Bruno Scalco, I am from Brazil and I have been studying at LAL language centres in Cape Town, South Africa. It has been an amazing experience. The city is beautiful and the school is really good. The staff is competent and nice to everyone. The experience changed my life and my English improved a lot.

I needed to improve my English for my career and because nowadays it is a vital language to communicate with people around the world. Cape Town is an amazing place with a lot of interesting things to do besides going to class, like surfing, safaris, bungy jumping, skydiving, seeing the whales and penguins and hiking in beautiful places. People here are very friendly and pleasant. Undoubtedly, coming to South Africa is an incredible experience that I will never forget and I would recommend it to everyone!

My TOEFL preparation course was challenging but I feel it really prepared me for my final exam. My teacher was great and really had the patience and motivation to help me.

I chose to come to Cape Town, and I'm sure I made the right choice... I can say that the programme was far beyond my expectations. The programme that I chose allows me to study, work in the country and still have time to visit the wonders of this country!

I came to South Africa because I wanted to improve my English because it is important for my career. I really enjoyed the course specially our teacher. My English improved extremely. I have had a great time in Cape Town. It is certainly one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. I can say also that the activities were excellent. I think the time with LAL South Africa was the best experience in my life.

What can I say about my stay at LAL Cape Town? It will be difficult to write about my 3 months in the FCE class because then I´ll have to write a book on how mesmerising it was for me. I enjoyed being in the same class with the same teacher, "Mr John", who was a remarkable teacher for me. I can recommend it to anyone. We improved certainly our English and became like a real family quickly.
