I’m very happy with IELS ... there is a great atmosphere at school! From week one, I had already felt at home. The teachers and staff are very professional and helpful. My English has definitely improved here and I can surely say that my experience in Malta was amazing!

We are a family from Germany. We are 50, 44, 11 and 8 years old. Next year we want to go to the USA, so we decided to try and improve our English. This meant that we, as the parents, had to go back to school after 25 years!

Our eleven year old daughter started learning English when she was nine. Her new secondary school offers a bilingual geography class. We hope she will be able to take part in it, as English is the most widely-spoken language in the world.

Our eight year old daughter will start learning English in her German school next September. We think that this is too late to start learning a language, so we wanted to give her a head-start by taking lessons in Malta.

We decided to book a course in Malta, because the weather is generally better than it is in England in the Spring. IELS in Sliema was excellent. We all had a private teacher, which meant we had to speak English all the time.

It was a good decision and we also had a lot of fun, because Malta is a very interesting place. We really enjoyed our time at IELS. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and we all learnt a lot in the lessons - our teachers were very patient.

We hope to come back again in the Autumn!

Many thanks for the great time, especially for the teachers who taught us very well. It was instructive all the time, helped me to improve my English knowledge and we learned with fun. It was made perfect by the many beautiful and interesting tours we took in Devon and Cornwall so I could combine my English study with holidays in a good way.

I can't say that my English has improved, because before coming to America I never learned English. May be I knew a few words but, that was all I knew. Now, after 5 months of learning English I can understand, speak and use proper grammar. It is like a miracle for me.

Well, What can i say about LAL London ?! :) It was my second time there and it was definitely amazing :) Teachers gave us the lessons which included learning new expressions, letting us discuss a subject so that we have a better understanding of it, and bringing some original material to the class. And a huge thanks to David Morrow :)) I have learned really a lot of medical terms and every time was surprised because every new lesson was better than the last one. His positive way of teaching gave me a lot in understanding idioms :) RECEPTION!!!! WOW!!!! AMAZING PEOPLE!!! Have never met so kindhearted, polite ,and open-minded people like Paula, Demelza and Ben ! They always are ready to help, always in a good mood, very friendly, just no words !!! :))) Paula, like a sun that gives her warmth to every student, very trustful, helpful person! She is unique :)) Demelza, she is so nice, gentle and positive! Ben is the best guide in the world!!! EVERY TIME it was so INTERESTING to go out with school when he was a guide, very smart and has an extremely pleasant nature. Also reliable and cheerful :) I have never been interested in history much, but the way he was telling about historic places made me feel really interested in it :) And every time when i had some problems with maps, tubes and things like that, he was always willing to help. And I Love London)) Its one of the world's most fascinating cities. There are so many possibilities to do and so many places to go to :) Every day is full of new emotions :) So , gonna come back soon !!! :))) Thank you LAL for a good time !!! :)) It was unforgettable ! :))

LAL London is located in Twickenham, nice area with many things you can find, like supermarket, shopping, train station to central London. LAL London offers free internet access and daily trips. My English have improved a lot since I joined LAL school. They have friendly staff and they helped me a lot and they also provide excellent teachers. I met a lot of people over the world and I learnt about many cultures and families. I advise people who are interested in learning English to join LAL school.
